Seemingly everyone these days is looking back at those days with nostalgia. Pre-Regan, pre-deregulation, pro-union, the list goes on…

But I get it. Everyone want’s their cake and to eat it too. We can ignore all of the cultural “values” that underpinned the era and hope we can have promiscuity, total liberation from social mores AND everything else we want!

Take it or leave it for what it was… People need to quit yearning for the “good old days” out of one side of their mouth while shitting all over the misguided values that were in part responsible for it.
