It never ceases to amaze me what the coastal States will do to prevent willing participants in a labor market from participating. This kind of employment is the definition of choice. You choose to sign up, you choose when to log in, you choose when to log out, and yet its “exploitative”.

When does CA ban firms from scheduling their employees? Telling people when they have to show up for work is obviously abuse. Don’t these firms understand that some people’s schedules might conflict with the needs of the business?
