I wrote this in response to an article two days ago: https://medium.com/@nZenitram/plenty-of-men-feel-the-same-way-but-in-a-different-way-a2b92430f162

I suppose it applies to both sexes. The question is, why are we still using them? I gave up “social media” for the most part. I still use Medium (obviously), and LinkedIn a bit, but I can’t seem to quit the online dating apps even though they depress more than any social media I have ever used. I feel like I am stuck. Approaching people in real life is now taboo as if its “too deep too fast”. The dating apps have pigeonholed everyone into looking for the superficial because anything real might mean someone has to commit to something. Its a real tragedy.

Thanks for your insights, they are spot on.
