Democratic Socialism is a faith based ideology, much like far right anarcho-capitalism, and yes, even the Islamic State. It has zero basis in reality, ignores human nature and preys on the emotional and mental weakness of people to recruit. While the DSA is certainly less violent than the Islamic State, its Antifa offshoots don’t shy away from violence, and I have never met a DSA member that disagreed with “killing fascists”.
