Current news articles are stating that “the officer responsible for dragging the man off the flight” has been put on leave.

And I have never heard of airlines having private security before, but I could be wrong. I can’t imagine they would foot that bill considering all of the security that exists in and around airports that is provided by Federal and State governments.
